According to the latest stats from one of the two English medium Newspapers in Thailand - The Nation, buying property in Thailand is still better than any other destination worldwide. According to the newspaper report, Phuket offers more than any Caribbean Island for the same amount of money.

Phuket offers the property investor more bang for their buck comparatively speaking. With Phuket's infrastructure, mature developments and golf courses and long white sandy beaches, the prices on the Thai Island are still hold well even during a global recession.

According to our property consultant, CB Richard Ellis, Phuket property prices are holding up, but with a reduced volume of transactions. "We do believe in the long-term potential of the Phuket property market, as it is undoubtedly Asia's primary resort destination. Compared to other Southeast Asian resorts, Phuket is the most mature market with established infrastructure, airlift and leisure facilities including four marinas and six golf courses. Phuket offers value for money in its real estate compared to similar properties in the Caribbean or Mediterranean," the spokesman said.
